Introduction and Acceptance of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and any tutoring service provided by our tutors, as well as any access to and use of your information that is shared with Tutors For Change, its content owners, leaders, tutors, affiliated firms and/or companies (collectively “we or “us”) in the form of any kind of communication including, but not limited to written, verbal, or video communication through our website, and/or through the use of any of our products and services. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, and contact us if you have any questions. By accessing or using any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Code of Conduct, and our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability or Disclaimers

You fully understand and agree that to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable to you for any incidental, punitive, exemplary, indirect, and/or consequential loss or theft of data or property, any damage to computer and/or any device or technology you use including, but not limited to, computer virus attacks or loss, theft, damage or destruction of personal data or property, any cost of substitute goods or services, any stoppage, defect, or delay of work or services, any communication failure, any unauthorized access to, use of, posting of, or editing of content regarding or on the website, any error or malfunction in any product or service including, but not limited to, the website, and/or any lack of desired results from any tutoring services used through Tutors For Change. You expressly agree to the prior statement even if we are aware of any or have been advised of any possibility of such risks or damages as mentioned above.

Although Tutors For Change, its content owners, and leaders will take reasonable steps to protect your privacy as outlined in the privacy agreement, you expressly understand and agree that any information you provide to us by any method of communication including, but not limited to, website forms, email, phone, text, word of mouth, audio, video is provided at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, we are not liable to any loss, damage, theft, or modification of any information you provide to us by any method of communication.

YOU ALSO EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY DESIRED RESULTS FROM ANY TUTORING PRODUCT OR SERVICE PROVIDED BY US IS NOT GUARANTEED, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LACK OF DESIRED RESULTS FROM ANY TUTORING PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVEN BY US AND/OR YOU.

YOU ALSO EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HELPING YOU IN ANY WAY IN THE CIRCUMSTANCE(S) THAT ANY LEGAL ACTION IS TAKEN AGAINST YOU BY ANY OF OUR AFFILIATES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, OUR CONTENT OWNERS, LEADERS, OTHER TUTORS, STUDENTS, PARENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AFFILIATED FIRMS AND/OR COMPANIES.

Payment Terms

You expressly understand that by joining Tutors For Change as a tutor, manager, director, or other non-student member, you are volunteering for Tutors For Change, and should expect no payment from Tutors For Change at any time now and/or in the future. You also understand and agree that you must direct all queries regarding payments from students and/or parents to our website. In the event that the parent and/or student pays the tutor (you) themselves, we are not required to refund in part or whole any amount of money paid to you. Additionally, you understand and agree that we are not required to refund any payments or donations made by you to us for any reason.

In the event that a parent and/or student (the "payer") makes a payment to you, you also agree that we are not liable for any damage to or destruction of your device, and/or any loss or theft of monetary funds incurred by you before, during, and/or after a transfer of funds from payer to tutor even if we are aware of the aforementioned risks when transferring funds from payer to tutor.

Intellectual Property Rights

You expressly understand and agree that you may not attempt to modify or copy any information from the website. You also expressly understand and agree that you may not modify, copy, or distribute any private or personal information or property provided to you indirectly or directly during a tutoring session without the express consent of the student and/or parent and/or the owner of the information or property.

Termination of Products or Services

You expressly understand and agree that you may stop using any products or services provided by us at any time. Failure to abide by all of the terms listed in this Terms and Conditions document can result in termination of products or services provided by us to you, including, but not limited to, a full removal of any and all your information from any and all publicly displayed sections of our website. Furthermore, we reserve the right to terminate provision of products or services to you for ANY reason including, but not limited to, failure to abide by the terms detailed in this document, if your values or actions do not align with the values or actions of Tutors For Change, its content owners, leaders, tutors, affiliated firms and/or companies, and/or if your values or actions threaten or jeopardize the safety of us and/or our other affiliates including, but not limited to, our family members, students and parents, and/or other users of our products and services. You further understand and agree that we reserve the right to deny you access to and/or use of any and all of our products and/or services for ANY reason.

Notification of Changes

We may modify these Terms over the course of time. We will try to notify you when such modifications take place via email or other contact information you may provide us with. By continuing to use our products and/or services including, but not limited to, the website, after such modifications are made and the Terms are updated, you agree to abide by the updated Terms.
